5-STEPS, CRAB LINGUINE IN WHITE WINE SAUCE – This crab linguine is mixed in a delicious white wine sauce with garlic. Use delicious snow crab with whole wheat or white linguine.
Seafood gives me the impression that I’m taking a fancy dining experience into my own home. While shrimp and fish are delicious, I prefer crab legs. If you’ve ever been intimidated by preparing snow crab at home, fear not, it truly could not be easier. And this Crab Linguine in a White Wine Garlic Sauce will keep you coming back for more.
5-STEPS, CRAB LINGUINE IN WHITE WINE SAUCE
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
— 8 ounces (ca. 302 g) whole wheat linguine cooked according to package instructions, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid
— 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
— 1 pinch chili flakes
— 2 cloves garlic grated
— 1 pound (ca. 454 g) precooked snow crab legs cut into 3-4 inch pieces
— 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth such as Sauvignon Blanc
— salt and pepper to taste
— 1/4 cup lemon juice
— minced parsley and parmigiano reggiano optional garnish
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

In a big, deep skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Garlic should be sautéed for 30 seconds or until aromatic.
Add chili flakes and crab legs to the pan and sauté an additional minute. Pour white wine into the pan to deglaze.
Raise the heat to high and bring to a boil, then cover with a lid to steam and reheat the crab legs for about 2-3 minutes.
Toss in pasta along with reserved cooking liquid and lemon juice.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a large pasta bowl, toss crab linguine with minced parsley and Parmigiana Reggiano, to taste.
