AIR FRYER CAULIFLOWER
— 1 small head / 12 oz (ca. 454 g) Cauliflower
— 2 tbsp Water
— 1 large Egg
— 1 tsp Garlic powder
— 1/2 cup Almond Flour, use more if needed
— 1/2 tsp Paprika
— 1/4 tsp each of Salt & Black Pepper or to taste
Buffalo Sauce :
— 3 tbsp Butter
— 1/2 cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
Start washing well the cauliflower and dry completely. Then core the cauliflower and remove the leaves from the bottom. Now, cut it into medium bite size florets. Set them aside safely.
In a mixing Bowl, beat the egg with 2 tbsp water lightly. In another mixing Bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, almond flour, salt & pepper.
Dip each floret into the egg mixture and after that coat it in the almond flour mix. (pay attention while coating in almond flour because almond flour tends to clump fast)
Now transfer each coated floret to a plate. And line the basket of Air fryer with the Air fryer Parchment Paper.
When ready to air fry, transfer all coated cauliflower florets in a single layer to the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper. Spray with some oil on top. Air fry at 390·F for 12 minutes. Don’t forget to flip during cooking.
Meanwhile, the cauliflower florets are cooking, prepare the Buffalo sauce. Combine butter and Frank’s Hot Sauce in a Frying Pan over the heat. Cook till butter melts. It’s ready to be dipped.
Once the cauliflower wings are cooked, toss them in the hot sauce. And place back in the air fryer. Air fry for 2-3 minutes more for the sauce to cook on top of it. It adds to the texture of the wings.
Serve with ranch and some celery sticks & cherry tomatoes on the side.
