AIR FRYER PINEAPPLE – Pineapple in the air fryer, sweet and caramelized! It’s the ideal healthy dessert or side dish, and you’ll want to eat it all. It’s easy to make, requiring only four ingredients and taking less than 20 minutes.
AIR FRYER PINEAPPLE
— 2 heaping cups sliced pineapple from approx. ½ small pineapple
— 1 tablespoon vegan butter or margarine melted, optional
— 2 tablespoons maple syrup
— 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Optional Chili Lime Dip:
— 3 tablespoons cashew cream or vegan mayo
— 1 tablespoon lime juice approx. half a lime
— ½ teaspoon chili powder
Place roughly 2 heaping cups of pineapple in a mixing dish after peeling, coreing, and slicing it.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon, then pour over the pineapple pieces. To evenly coat the slices, gently combine all of the ingredients.
Then, in your fryer basket, arrange them in a single layer (slightly overlapping is OK) and air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until caramelized. At the halfway mark, flip the pineapple one more.
Warm or cold, as a side dish or dessert, this meal is delicious.
While the pineapple is cooking, mix together the chili lime dip ingredients in a small bowl.
