Every year, my family like to refresh their memories with these BEST PECAN SNOWBALLS, especially on their celebration of Christmas Holiday. Truly, I think that you also have some sensitive memories with these PECAN SNOWBALLS COOKIES.

These cookies have many various names, but they have the same flavor and taste. In different cultures, you will find them talk about these cookies balls, yes, It’s very popular.

SNOWBALLS BALLS appeared since the starts of 90s, and They still existed in the majority American homes. I remember my grandma when she presented me these cookies balls for the first time, I loved them like I love my grandma so much.

BEST PECAN SNOWBALLS INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

— 1/3 cup finely chopped/ground.

— 2×1/4 cups all-purpose flour.

— One cup softened butter.

— 2×1/2 cup powdered confectioners’ sugar.

— 1/3 cup granulated sugar.

— 2×Half teaspoons vanilla extract (Mexican Vanilla Extract used here).

— Half teaspoon salt.

BEST PECAN SNOWBALLS INSTRUCTIONS RECIPE:

Place the pecans in a food processor. Ground to get smaller chunks.

In an electric mixer, add 1/2 cup powdered sugar, butter, and 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Beat for about 5 minutes, or until light and fluffy. Beat in salt, and vanilla extract.

Each once time, add half cup of flour and lightly beat until combined, then beat in chopped pecans and beat until just incorporated.

Place the dough in the fridge for about 30 to 60 minutes. Cooling the dough will facilitate next steps.

Preheat oven to 350 °F (ca. 177 °C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Use a cookie scoop to scoop dough. I used a 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop. If the dough is sticky, dip it in a bowl of powdered sugar between each scoop.

Using your hands, form balls with the dough. Place the balls separately on a baking sheet.

Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, add 1 1/2 cups powdered confectioners’ sugar.

Sprinkle each ball with powdered sugar until coated. Place on rack to cool and still sprinkling until totally cool.

Finely, taste one and Store in an airtight container to serve later.
