BEST SEAFOOD MACARONI SALAD SOUL FOOD RECIPE – In the summer months, there is nothing quite like a killer seafood salad. As a child, during the summer, I can still recall anticipating grilled meats and cold pasta salads. This dish is an homage to those recollections.

INGREDIENTS:
— 16 ounces macaroni noodles (cooked Al dente and cooled)
— 4 boiled eggs, finely diced
— 2 cups mayonnaise (Hellman’s is my absolute fave to use)
— 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
— 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely diced
— 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
— 2 1/2 teaspoon old bay
— 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
— 1 teaspoon white sugar
— 2 tablespoon dill relish
— 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
— 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
— 8 ounces crab meat (I used crab claw meat)
— 12 ounces small cooked shrimp
— Paprika (optional garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large bowl combine mayonnaise, mustard, old bay, black pepper, and sugar – mix well
Add green onion, red bell pepper, celery, lemon juice, macaroni noodles, relish, and eggs – mix well
Add crab meat and shrimp – mix well
Garnish with paprika (optional)
Chill for 1-2 hours before serving
Serve and enjoy !
