— 4 cups of diced apples
— 1 store bought pie crust
— 3/4 cup of prepared caramel sauce
— 1 cup of salted peanuts, shelled
— 1/2 cup of sugar
— 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
— About 3/4 cup of turbinado sugar
— 1/2 cup of heavy cream
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the diced apples with the sugar, caramel sauce, and lemon juice.
Arrange the apples in the middle of the pie crust. Then pour around the peanuts and fold up the sides of the pie crust.
Brush each of the sides of the crust with heavy cream and then top with turbinado sugar. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
