CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE

CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE – THE BEST corned beef dinner with cabbage. This recipe is very easy and tasty. Best served with mustard.

CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE
INGREDIENTS:
— Cabbage
— Corned beef
— Butter
— Flour
— Salt
— Pepper
— Onions
— Carrots
— Chicken or Beef Stock
— Green and red peppers (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Make sure that you make your corned beef tender.
Get Tender cuts of beef and place in a slow cooker. Make sure that you Brine the meat.
Use chicken Or beef stock. This will help with seasoning the gravy
Place your onions, carrots, peppers and any other ingredients that she would like to add.
Cook the beef for about four hours, If you need more time, cook longer
Cabbage:
Cut the cabbage small. Place your onions, your carrots and any other ingredients that you would like.
Add a bit of water.
Cook the cabbage until translucent. Put some butter in. Then stir and season to taste. Use salt and pepper.
Gravy:
To make the gravy, use the juice from the meat.
Place butter in skillet. Use some flour, and put the juice from the meat in the skillet.
Stir and let thicken. Season it to taste with salt and pepper
Have a side of rice or potato if you would like.
