CREAMY JERK LOBSTER PASTA RECIPE – This dish is ideal for a romantic dinner at home or for special occasions when you want a tasty meal with top-quality seafood.
— 2 raw lobster tails (6-8 ounces each)
— 8 ounces fettuccini noodles, cooked Al dente and drained
— 4 ounces Parmesan cheese, shredded
— 3 tablespoon red bell pepper diced
— 2 tablespoon green onion chopped
— 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
— 1 + 1/2 cup heavy cream
— 2 teaspoon garlic chopped
— 1 + 1/2 teaspoon dry Jamaican Jerk seasoning
— 1/4 teaspoon Badia complete seasoning
— 1 /4 teaspoons dried thyme
— Pinch of ground black pepper
— Parsley (garnish)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brush lobster tails with 1 tablespoon melted butter.
Season lobster tails with 1/2 teaspoon jerk seasoning.
Place in oven and bake for 15-17 minutes.
Remove from oven, set aside.
In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoon unsalted butter and sauté garlic, red bell pepper, and green onion for 2-3 minutes or until tender.
Add heavy cream, stir well and allow it to cook for 3-5 minutes on medium – continue to stir as it cooks.
Season with jerk seasoning, complete seasoning, ground black pepper, and thyme – mix well.
Slowly stir in Parmesan cheese – cook for another 3-5 minutes while continuing to stir.
Set 1/2 cup of the pasta sauce to the side.
Add the cooked fettuccine noodles to the sauce and stir well until all noodles are covered in the pasta sauce.
Remove from heat.
To plate – place fettuccini noodles on a plate, top with 1 lobster tail, drizzle 1/4 reserved pasta sauce over the lobster, and garnish with parsley (optional).
