EASY LIME CAKE RECIPE

This EASY LIME CAKE RECIPE is easy and quick, a cake with the flavor of lemon is something different but worth.

Sure, it’s easy, some think that the cooking need some special skills, me too I thought that. Especially, this recipe requires just some so simple ingredients, so don’t worry. We will see together how we prepare this cake from scratch until serving.

INGREDIENTS:

FOR CAKE:

— 1 package, white, or vanilla cake mix.

— 4 eggs.

— 1 cup lime yogurt or sour cream, not fat free.

— 1 tablespoon lime peel, well grated(must be finely).

— 3 tablespoons lime juice.

— 1/2 cup oil.

FOR GLAZE:

— 2 cups powdered sugar, use more if you like a thicker glaze.

— 3-4 tbsp lime juice.

— 3 tbsp butter, melted.

— 1-2 tbsp milk, more or less related to the consistency of the glaze you want to glaze.

— Pinch of salt.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Heat oven to 350 °F. Coat bundt pan with no-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle some flour.

For cake mix, using an electric mixer, combine the yogurt or sour cream, eggs, lime juice, oil, and lime peel in a large bowl with until become dampened. Boost speed and Beat for 2 minutes. Spread equally in prepared pan.

Place to baking for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center exits clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan and let to cool totally.

In a large bowl, mix the lime juice, melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, and butter. When it becomes combined, pour over cake. Garnish with additional lime peel. Serve and enjoy!
