All the ingredients used in this recipe give it a special taste, but the most effect one is the Mayonnaise. Nobody will distingué the flavor of mayonnaise, let’s go and see how we will make these mashed potatoes.
— 2 pounds (ca. 907 g) cut potatoes.
— ½ cup mayonnaise.
— ½ tablespoon salt.
— 6 cloves garlic.
— ¼ cup half-and-half.
— 2 tablespoons chopped chives.
Peel the potatoes and remove skins of garlic, wash all well with water. Then put them in a large pot.
Sprinkle some salt and add water until Potatoes totally covered.
Place the large pot on the stove and let cooking to boil, you can verify cooking with a fork.
When the cooking is done, dry water.
Add the Mayonnaise to the potatoes and mash all using clean hands or hand masher. Continue mashing until you get the consistency desired.
Blend in chopped chives and serve as you want.
