FRUITY PEBBLES FRENCH TOAST RECIPE

FRUITY PEBBLES FRENCH TOAST RECIPE – Toss out traditional French toast! This is a colorful and fun way to spice up breakfast and brunch!

I’m still a kid at heart. There’s no getting around it. Some of my favorite breakfasts were when I was a kid and desperately trying to scoop every last ounce of cereal onto my spoon. And I adored any cereal with unusual colors and a lot of sugar.

FRUITY PEBBLES FRENCH TOAST RECIPE

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

— ⅔ cup crushed fruity pebbles or similar cereal
— 2 large eggs
— 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
— ½ cup half and half
— ½ teaspoon cinnamon
— 3 tablespoons butter
— 4 slices Challah

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

Whisk together the eggs, half and half, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium-sized mixing bowl until well combined.

Distribute the fruity pebbles evenly on a plate.

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

To assemble, simply dip each bread slice in the egg mixture, allowing it to absorb for about 20-30 seconds, then into the pebbles, coating thoroughly before adding to the skillet. Cook until both sides are golden, then serve immediately.
