GARLIC BUTTER STEAK AND POTATOES SKILLET – It is a simple dish with a flavorful garlic herb steak that melts in your mouth and is served with potatoes.

This delectable lunch is enjoyed by all members of the family!!! Especially My ten-year-old son, who is a major steak aficionado, insists on having it every week. It’s a win-win situation for both of us because he likes steak and potatoes and I appreciate quick and easy dinners. Is there anything more satisfying than a juicy steak and a side of roast potatoes? This dish is overflowing with flavor and sure to please everyone in your family, thanks to a buttery garlic herb sauce.

GARLIC BUTTER STEAK AND POTATOES SKILLET

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

— Sirloin steaks, I used 1¼ lbs. cut into 1-inch cubes.

— 1 Tbsp. Of olive oil.

— 2 Tbsp. Of butter, divided.

— Yukon gold potatoes, I used one pound sliced, about ½ inch thick.

— 1 Tsp. Of chopped thyme.

— 1 Tsp. Of chopped rosemary.

— 3 cloves. Of garlic, minced.

— 1 Tsp. Of chopped oregano.

— To season, I used salt and pepper, but you can feel free to add more spices.

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

I heated a large spoon of olive oil and another spoon of soft butter in a large cast-iron pan over medium-high heat until hot. And then I boiled the potatoes with minced garlic, fresh chopped thyme, rosemary, and oregano until they were soft.

I cooked the combination for about 4 minutes on low heat, then tossed it and cooked it for another 3 to 5 minutes, just until the potatoes were fork-tender, then I removed the cooked potatoes from the pan and placed them on a plate.

After that, I heated the skillet over high heat and added the remaining spoon of butter, as well as the steak chunks, and mixed thoroughly.

I allowed the steaks to sear for a minute before continuing to stir them until they were golden brown and juicy. I then added the potatoes and stirred them all together again.

As a finishing touch, I strewed a good amount of chopped fresh herbs around my skillet and immediately served it!

All that’s required to finish this delectable meal is a simple side salad and dinner buns!! You should give it a try as soon as possible, and please spread the word to your friends.
