GRANDMA’S ROAST BEEF

GRANDMA’S ROAST BEEF tastes exactly like Grandma’s! An ideal Sunday dinner is tender, slow-cooked beef with a thick, hearty sauce!
One of the things I look forward to at the end of the week is Sunday dinner. And, to be honest, it’s more because of the concept of Sunday dinner that I recall, rather than the Sunday dinners we have these days.
Jon’s grandma is known amongst the family for her delicious Roast Beef Salad. I had never heard of it until I met Jon. The whole family raves about it. We called Grandma to ask her for the recipe, and she told us over the phone how to make it. After she had talked to us, she decided it sounded pretty good. So, while we were visiting in Ohio, she invited us, Jon’s parents, and brother and sister-in-law over for Roast Beef Salad. We all quickly accepted the invitation. It was actually my first time having Roast Beef Salad, and it was delicious.
A few months prior, I had gone to my in-laws’ neighborhood parking lot sale. Residents of the community come and sell their “unwanted” items. I go every year and hunt for vintage kitchen items. This year I found a hand-crank meat grinder.
