GROUND BEEF TACO DIP
GROUND BEEF TACO DIP – If you’re searching for a quick and tasty party snack, this ground beef taco dip is the way to go! It’s ideal for feeding a large group, and it’ll be a hit with everyone. Plus, it’s so easy to put together that you’ll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the party.
— 1 pound (ca. 454 g) lean ground beef
— 2 envelopes taco seasoning divided
— ¾ cup water
— 2 cups sour cream
— 8 ounces (ca. 302 g) cream cheese, softened
— 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
— 2 roma tomatoes seeds removed, diced
— ¼ cup red onion finely chopped
— ½ cup sliced black olives
— ¼ cup cilantro
Add sour cream and cream cheese to a medium mixing bowl. Beat to combine until smooth. Add one envelope of taco seasoning – mixing until combined.
Spread into bottom of 9×9 baking dish and refrigerate while you’re browning the beef.
Then, In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add water and 1 envelope taco seasoning; cook until thickened. Cool slightly.
Spread ground beef mixture over cream cheese.
Top ground beef layer with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and olives. Serve with your favorite chips and enjoy!
