HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS – If you enjoy handmade cinnamon rolls, you must try my version of these fluffy, delectable, and soft cinnamon buns. These are great for breakfast or dessert, and they’re topped with a light vanilla frosting.
HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS
— 3 Eggs
— 3 1/4 tsp Active dry yeast
— 5 cups All purpose flour
— 1 1/4 cups Brown sugar (lightly packed)
— 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
— 1 half cup of Granulated sugar
— 3 cups Powdered sugar
— 1 tsp of Salt
— 1 Dash of Salt
— 2 tsp of Vanilla
— 1/3 cup Of Olive oil
— 1 cup of Butter
— 3 tablespoons of cream
— 1 cup of Milk
Mix the yeast milk and sugar together, Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes.
Add in the eggs, oil, and the salt, mix together.
Add in 3 cups of all-purpose flour and mix very well, You are going to mix this for about 2 minutes.
Then add in the flour until a thick dough form, continue to mix.
Once the dough is formed, take out of the mixing bowl and knead the dough.
Make the dough into a ball, and return the dough to the bowl that you mixed it in, cover the bowl and allow resting for about 30 minutes How to form the cinnamon rolls.
Roll the dough into a rectangular shape that is around 24 inches wide and around 18 inches tall.
Mix some melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, make sure that they are combined well.
Next, you are going to mix the sugar mixture and spread it all over the rolled dough, leaving about a 1-inch gap along the top.
Take dough up starting at the bottom.
Take the dough doll roll and mark it into 12 even pieces.
Next, you are going to take a serrated knife to cut the rolls where you made your marks.
Place the cut rolls, with the cut side down, Place in a parchment lined or greased large 17 by 11 inch baking dish.
Next, you are going to cover it with plastic wrap or a clean dish towel, and let rest for 30 minutes.
How to bake them:
While the rolls are resting, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the rolls are cooking, you can start to make the icing.
Add some melted butter to a medium bowl, Next you are going to add the vanilla and the powdered sugar. Make sure that you mix the icing well to get it nice and smooth, make sure that the butter is hot when you mix in the sugar. Add in some cream or milk Mix until you get a medium-thin consistency.
Take the rolls out when they are done Let them cool for about 5 minutes Place the frosting on, while the rolls are still warm, enjoy!
