HOT CRAB DIP RECIPE – Crab Dip, served hot and creamy with melted cheddar cheese, is a delectable snack. It served warm with crackers or toasted baguette, or create homemade wonton chips. Those are my favorite things!
HOT CRAB DIP RECIPE
— 1 pound (ca. 454 g) backfin or lump crab meat
— 4 ounces (ca. 151 g) cream cheese, softened
— 1 cup mayonnaise
— 2 green onions, sliced
— 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
— 1 teaspoon lemon zest
— 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
— 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
— 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce
— 2 tablespoons capers
Cream the cream cheese and mayonnaise together in a medium mixing bowl until smooth.
Combine the horseradish, lemon zest, garlic salt, and hot sauce in a mixing bowl.
Fold in cheese, green onions, capers, and crab meat.
Transfer to a lightly greased casserole dish and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
