— 1 Package of Mushrooms (Sliced)
— 1 Package of Spaghetti
— 4 tbsp salted Butter (Divided into two equal pieces)
— 1 ½ tsp Garlic (Minced)
— ¼ tsp Black Pepper
— ½ tsp Kosher Salt
— ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
— Fresh Parsley
Fill a large pot with water.
Add salt and bring the water to boiling.
Follow the instructions on the back of the spaghetti package for the rest of the process.
Before draining the water from the pot, set aside ¼ cup of the pasta water.
Add two tablespoons of butter to a large skillet set on medium-high heat.
Stir in the sliced mushrooms, cooking for 4-5 minutes until they begin to turn a golden brown.
Add in the minced garlic, stirring as they are being added. Continue to stir for a minute. Salt and pepper as needed.
Reduce the heat on the stove to low.
Add in two more tablespoons of butter.
Stir when adding in the pasta, reserved water and cheese. Use tongs to toss the pasta until it is coated in the sauce.
Taste test to season as needed.
Toss before serving. Spoon the spaghetti in single serving bowls.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
