QUICK SLOW COOKER CABBAGE

Today, we are going to make the best and quick slow cooker cabbage. This recipe based on the fresh cabbage with the flavor of bacon.

Cabbage contains vitamin C, high percentage of beta-carotene, and fiber. Additionally, it can help us to avoid the risk of some cancers. How to prepare the Quick Slow Cooker Cabbage

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

Cabbage — a big head of cabbage cut in small cubes(red cabbage or green one).

Water — Just one cup is sufficient. We are not want to make a soup!!

Bacon — Precooked slices of bacon. While cook, try to save the drippings of the bacon, you will need to add little or more to the cabbage. Truly, it gives a special flavor to your cabbage.

Seasoning — Salt and Pepper are just the two recommended, but if you like the taste of red pepper flakes, that’s not a problem.

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:

Bring the head of cabbage, cut it into halves. Then slice to make small cubes, 1-inch.

Cook the bacon slices(1/2 inch) until browned in a skillet on the stove-top, try to save the grease aside in a glass dish.

Add the bacon, bacon grease to taste, water, cider vinegar of apple, salt, and pepper. Blend lightly. Then add red pepper flake if you prefer spicy taste.

Cook all the prepared ingredients on high for about 2.5 or 3 hours.

Mix all and serve.
