This QUICK STRAWBERRY PIE is easy, toothsome, and full of flavor, it’s an old-fashioned recipe that require just few ingredients, intense strawberry flavor, you will be addicted to this recipe.
For all strawberry lovers, here is one of the best dessert that base on this fruit. I actually love this pie, and it’s my favorite since I tasted it.
My kids are huge fans of this STRAWBERRY PIE, and they kidnap all the pieces when I make it for them. Furthermore, I prepare it twice per week. But they don’t prefer anything than this pie at this time.
QUICK STRAWBERRY PIE
— 1 9” frozen pie crust baked.
— 1 lb (ca. 454 g) cut strawberries.
— 1 3 oz (ca. 113 g) package of strawberry jello.
— One cup sugar.
— 1 1/2 cup water.
— 1/4 cup cornstarch.
Start baking the pie crust following the package’s directions, then remove it from the oven and let to cool.
Meanwhile, in large saucepan add water and sugar and heat on medium heat, patiently whisk in the cornstarch to combine well to make sure no lumps.
Keep stirring for about 5 minutes until the mixture become thickened and clear. Remove from heat and whisk in the strawberry jello until totally melted, let cool to room temperature.
When it cooled add in the strawberries and toss to coat equally then pour into prepared pie crust.
Enter it in the fridge to set for about 3 hours. Dollop with whipped cream to taste.
