SLOW COOKER BARBECUED BEEF RIBS
— 1 cup water
— 1 cup ketchup
— 1 (6 ounce (ca. 227 g)) can tomato paste
— 1/2 cup vinegar
— 3/4 cup brown sugar
— 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
— 1 tablespoon salt
— 2 pounds (ca. 907 g) beef back ribs
In a slow cooker, combine water, ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, and salt, stirring to dissolve the brown sugar and salt.
Stir the short ribs into the sauce to coat. Set the cooker to Low, cover, and leave to cook for 8 hours.
