SOUTHERN PEACH COBBLER RECIPE – With sweet spiced peaches and homemade butter pie crust, this quick homemade peach cobbler with canned or fresh peaches is the perfect Southern old-fashioned dish!
For The Filling:
— 3 can peach in lite syrup (if using fresh peaches, 29 ounces each
— ½ cup salted butter 1 stick
— 1 cup granulated sugar
— ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
— 1 teaspoon nutmeg
— 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
— 3 teaspoons all-purpose flour
For The Pie Crust:
— 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
— 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
— 1 teaspoon salt
— 1 cup very cold unsalted butter, cut in cubes 2 sticks
— ½-⅔ cup very cold water
— 1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon of water.
— Ground cinnamon for garnish
